Sweater Vest pattern

This is a sewing pattern and tutorial for a child’s sweater vest and a tank top, in size range 0-3 months (62) to 10 years (140).

The Sweater Vest is an essential layering piece. It is designed to fit higher than a regular sweatshirt. Throw over a lightweight top or even a dress if you are not sure if the weather is cold. Use a cable knit fabric to get the best of this pattern. This top would fit great, sewn also with thicker quality fabricks like French Terry, sweatshirt, jacquard sweat, and interlock.
You can sew the top in summer, as a low shoulder and deep armhole (muscle tee) trendy tank top. In this case, a lightweight knit fabric would be a good choice.

The pattern is for knit fabrics.

You will receive a digital PDF file to print on your home computer or in a copy shop on A4 or US letter paper. No physical item will be shipped to you.
An A1 and a projector file are included.

Seam allowance is included.

You can sew the t-shirt either on an overlock machine - serger or on a sewing machine.
