The Elastic Hem Sweatshirt is a sewing pattern for a children’s top, including sizes from 3 months (62) to 12 years (152).
This sweatshirt has a comfy, relaxed fit and features some trendy details. The shoulder seams are lower on the front and longer at the back. The sleeves have a seam on the front, creating one continuous seam detail in the upper part of the sweater. The hems are finished with elastic rather than ribbing bands and give the finished garment a professional look.
A step-by-step tutorial with a lot of pictures is included.
Recommended fabric - lightweight to heavy-weight knits with good recovery - cotton jersey, bamboo/modal jersey, interlock, lightweight sweater knits, interlock, French terry, sweatshirt fabric.
We recommend using rib knit fabric for the neckline.
